Minnetonka, MN — May 2026 — Foster Klima is proud to announce that Danielle Swann has become the firm’s Majority Owner, marking an important leadership milestone for both the organization and the Excelsior–Lake Minnetonka business community.

With this transition, Danielle Swann makes history as the first majority female Principal Owner in Guardian’s 166-year history, reflecting the continued growth of women-led businesses and leadership in our regional economy.

Danielle brings more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and is widely recognized as a perennial, award-winning agency builder and people developer. Known by colleagues as a “serial mentor and advocate,” she has spent her career championing financial advisors and business leaders—helping them realize their maximum potential while building profitable, sustainable organizations.

Danielle began her career immediately after graduate school as a financial advisor with MetLife, driven by a deep personal commitment to financial preparedness. A tragic fire experienced by her own family became the catalyst for her lifelong dedication to helping others plan for and protect against unexpected life events.

Over the course of her career, Danielle has excelled in leadership roles spanning sales, recruiting, marketing, and senior executive management. In her current role as Chief Executive Officer of Foster Klima, her focus is on expanding the firm’s impact—both economically and within the communities it serves.

Under Danielle’s leadership, Foster Klima will continue to:

Support local businesses through employee benefits, retirement planning, and succession strategies
Develop and retain professional talent within the Lake Minnetonka region
Remain actively engaged with local chambers and community organizations
